Abstract
The authors observed typical skin form of avian staphylocorcosis in 12 day-old-chickens which were kept on the floor. The lesions observed were edematous, necrotic and crusty dermatitis on the wings, the head, the neck and the other parts of the body. Delta hemolytic type Staphylococcus aureus and Herellea were isolated from the lesions of each bird examined.
